A Watch Drawn Like a Sculpture

Laphont began with a designer who wanted to shape a watch the way you would shape a sculpture. Every case starts as a sketch, becomes a 3D model, and then spends months being refined for proportion and weight before it ever reaches a wrist.

The Bloc is the clearest expression of that approach. A Brutalist-inspired square tank with stepped, polished sides, it relies on geometry rather than decoration. That restraint is exactly what drew us to it: a clean, open dial with room for a story.

Three Scenes, One Line

On Skybound, a white rabbit steers five bright kites across deep navy. Cloudling sends a teddy bear drifting beneath a cluster of balloons on turquoise, led by a red heart. Bouquella lifts a girl in white off a black dial on a bunch of bouquets.

Each composition climbs from a small figure in the lower corner to a burst of colour above, and on every dial the line between them runs straight through the centre, where the hands turn. Every dial is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

Made to Be Worn Every Day

At just 7.6mm thick, the Bloc slips under a cuff as easily as it sits on a bare wrist. Sapphire crystal protects each painting, and a Japanese Miyota quartz movement keeps it accurate and ready to wear without winding.

Each design arrives on a croc-embossed leather strap chosen for its dial: navy for Skybound, grey for Cloudling and black for Bouquella. Small enough to wear daily, and personal enough to keep for good.
